This altar in honor of the cultural and political icons of my homeland Argentina. Pictured of the ofrenda are the revolutionary and physician, Ernesto Che Guevara, First lady Maria Eva Evita Peron, pioneer surgeon Rene Geronimo Favaloro, surrealist painter Leonor Fini,  the writer Jorge Luis Borges, and singer/composer Charles Romual Gardel, known as Carlos Cardel. This selected symbols of water which it associates with changed and new life to represent the ways that these individuals transformed  the landscape of Argentina and culturally nourished its population through their life and work.
