The Silk Floss is a South American native tree that produces a large seed pod that contains cotton. This cotton inspired this installation with a community of free-form creatures. This installation examines a dialogue between nature and the ability to host and protect its natural resources. These organic structures mirror the unpredictability and diversity found in the natural world. These creatures, filled with the soft embrace of cotton, serve as both homage and exploration, bridging the gap between the organic world and the exploration of human refuge.
